I just recently re-read TERRA FORMARS and it's more incredible than I remember. I'm not going to give away any details but I highly highly HIGHLY recommend it, even if you're not into sci-fi or if you dislike gore, because at first glance it may just seem like nothing but people getting killed by evolved creatures in space but it turns out to be a very complex story of political and international tension, innocent romances turned to tears, insolent and ignorant betrayal, and most importantly the dangers and wonders of biological evolution and genetic modification. It will make you laugh, cry and cringe at times, but you won't be able to stop . P.S. The anime is pretty good, but the plot is not really developed very well, BUT it is only 13 episodes. I would recommend you watch the ANIME first and then for a CONTINUATION of the anime, read the manga from where the anime ends...about CHAPTER 45 in the MANGA, but you should just read from the beginning because you WILL get confused if you don't read slowly and carefully. And it helps that the ART is quite amazing. An image from the manga (I tried to find a cool one.)

I remember I saw this had high ratings but it was in the horror category so I didn't try it out. Kinda reminds me of the Chimera ants arc from Hunter x Hunter.

I remember I saw this had high ratings but it was in the horror category so I didn't try it out. Kinda reminds me of the Chimera ants arc from Hunter x Hunter. It's not really horror. It's mainly just a lot of gore, but I think you should be able to handle it. The BADASSERY of the characters should be more than enough to balance the abundance of flying body parts.
